Guns N' Roses have arisen out of two bands (L.A. Guns and Hollywood
Roses) and was founded 1985 in Hollywood. Their debut album "Appetite For
Destruction" took over number 1 of the US charts in 1987 and immediately
became a mega seller.
On the highlight of their musical career they released at the same time the
albums "Use Your Illusion I" and "Use Your Illusion II" in January 1991. The
release was followed by two year long very successful world tour, before it
got quiet around the band for many years. However this DVD is the best proof
that Guns N' Roses is in fact one of the best rock 'n' roll bands in the world. The bad boys from L.A. rock like the
gods. You only need to hear the first sun-drenched accords of "Welcome To The Jungle" and the following ecstasy in
the stadium: Then it becomes completely normal to wear chequered skirts and colored scarves around the head.
